horizontal piece on early front valance

The horizontal piece on early front valance between the bumper and the grille from early E30s - part no. 41331884353 (no 7 in the realoem.com pic), does this fit update models? Looking to fit a fibreglass front bumper/spoiler to a late model E30.

Yeah, it fits late model e30's fine, just need to remove the one that is one piece (aka the steel valance and under grill piece as one)

You could also just trim it from the late model valance if you plan on going with something that needs you rid of the valance.
