yes its an 88, ive been lloking around like crazy and its way to expensive for the e30 plastic bumper conversion, even if its used, I can get the 525i bumpers front and back for dirt cheap at a jumk yard right now, and they are in great shape

I almost did the swap on my car, but I'm happy with tucked painted bumpers. Try it on your car first before you spend the cash on a swap.

To your original question, I've never heard of anyone desiring or attempting e34 bumper swap. I doubt they will fit.

E34's are quite a bit wider than an e30, so no, they are not going to fit without serious modification.

The special thing about the 88 is the bumpers. Trust me, youre gonna think theyre ugly like I did, but when you realize they are lighter, they make the 88 special, and when your girlfriend hits a tree bush with your e30, you will be glad they are not plastic.

Probably won't work, but I have heard of people putting E34 bumpers on E28s before.

                      ?? Ugly ??

Never found the bumpers ugly. I'm in New York where I feel pity for all the car owners sporting scratched, cracked, blemished plastic unsafe bumpers. I love my metal ledge as it serves a purpose. My car is creeping unto 30 years fully restored. why would I risk my time and investment with plastic. When something is worth while you protect it. This is why surgeons would buy and drive ugly Volvos,
