    M3 front-end on a 1990 325

I've been thinking of M3'izing (for the lack of a better word) my 325i touring ever since I bought it.

    1. Opinions on this idea? (Hot, not?)
    2. Will an M3 front end (fenders, bumper) bolt on to a 325 or will there be some fabrication required?
    3. I have NO CLUE how this will look, or whether this has been discussed before, so excuse my repetitiveness if it has.

i think it would look funny with just the front(yes the fenders will bolt up, and i think the front bumper will bolt up correctly with the fenders) but what would you do in the rear?

There are a few "m3" tourings, i think Jordan has some info on it.

It has been done, but it will require some modification to fit. Since the M3 has wider front fenders than a standard E30, the ends of the M3 front bumper/airdam are wider. You'll have to modify the ends (find a way to bend them inwards) to fit on the standard E30 front end. Like I said, it's been done, but it needs work.

          Started life as a 316iT

          Became a 325iT with a m20b25 for several years
          Became a 332iT with a S52B32 for a couple months
Now well on its way to being a 332iT with a S54B32.

Jordan, do you have a link with some more info about that car? I want to know how the rear quarters were done. Especially how the rear doors were done like that.

            Thanks,
            Steven

Terry needs to sell me that car.

                Seriously.

I just wish it had an M3 front instead of that BMP thing.

I agree. Jordan, did Terry ever say why they went with the BMP front instead of the M3, to match the rear?

Terry is an ass, his reasons are his own, I don't pretend to understand. Even if I asked I wouldn't get a tangible answer.
Terry will never sell it, it "belongs" to Debbie, his wife.

The car was used as a shop rat/truck for several years before it recieved any attention.

The car is also fucked up. The whole front clip on the drivers side (from the windshield forward) was folded up like tin foil. The frame rail was hacked off and a donor car's rail welded in its place. The drivers side floorpan is still fucked up around your feet and the dead pedal is all sorts of in the wrong place. It's a parts car with a fancy bodykit really. It would have a salvage title if it wasn't for the fact this car doesn't exist.
