    convertible hardtop custom painted >:D

    After alot of sanding,bondo,primer,sanding,reprimer,etcc finally got my convertible done right with this hardtop. here u go fellas ;)

    when i first got my dirty e30 before touching it..

      HOW THE F**& did this thread go un-bumped???? wow just wow SUPER CLEAN hardtop/paintjob..i am looking to do the same in a few months as i will be getting a hardtop soon and a paint job this winter/spring..and tips or suggestions?

        Your hardtop looks awesome!

        How many hours would you say you put into it? It seems like a lot of work to get it to look right.

            hardtop looks great, but why did you paint all the door/bumper trim, looks terrible.

                  i get it.. im sure it was to make the car a solid color.. i would have kept the bumper trim black and im torn on the door trim

                            I think you should have painted it blue and then towed a red trailer with the hardtop on top of the trailer while you blasted "Born in the USA" while hanging out of your window with a hulk hogan stache, Budweiser and a hatred for anything not made with processed cheese.

                              my hard top is semi gloss black. i cant take the credit for re finishing it because i had to buy a car to get it for my red one but it was redone very well. and i really like the two tone look, but now im thinking about having it redone to match my car. just dont know if it would look as good due to my car being red?
