early valance to late valance swap question....

Hi. I'm think about things to do on my '87 early model. Bumpers are tucked currently and I'm shopping euro bumpers to switch. Anyway, I'm not a body kit kind of guy but I'm thinking that a late model rear valance would fill in that "empty" area in the back. So, my question is how hard is it? Looks like you cut and weld. Is there a write up somewhere? And where should I get the valance? Thanks.

No it doesn't you newb, the late model factory valance is part of the chassis. It has to but cut off and welded to the new car.

To answer your question, that valance won't fit right with the skinny Euro bumpers, don't bother

        Trust me

            Rear valances? I doubt it.

Thanks for the info. I think I'll just keep on the lookout for euro bumpers and be done with it.
