Maybe we shouldn't have been working on Father's Day but ... anyway, yesterday, my team and I analyzed the front bumpers of a 1991 325i convertible (E30) and a 1987 325 4-door (E30) to see what's identical vs different and to see what the part numbers are, in the real world:
I hope the information is of interest to r3v forum members. I, for one, found it interesting to see the new-style shock absorber photographed next to the old-style part, so be able to see the difference in length.
My plan is to have everything on the E30 gradually analyzed and contrasted and photographed and documented as such. With enough of such information and a good supply of parts, it becomes more viable to keep these cars on the road.
