10 minutes... then we invade China.
We'll begin with the small town of General Tso's,
And move to the Orange chicken province.

Why don't you just buy a late model?

I guess I don't understand why people buy E30s with diving boards then complain about how much they hate diving boards (and/or tuck them).

That's what I'm thinking. My buddy originally wanted a plastic bumpered e30 but couldn't wait to save up. Picked up an early with db. After everything he spent on the conversion, he has spent more than what it would have cost to pick up a late model.

I for one like the higher rear arches and smaller tail lights on the early models compared to the late models. And swapping bumpers isn't that big of deal. Personally I'd rather have euro bumpers on a early then plastics. But plastics would do if euro's wasn't to be found. Also to the OP, your diving board bumpers are neither steel or chrome. They are aluminum....

^but that's the thing. He wants plastic bumpers. Honestly, while I like the higher rear arches, the combination of them plus the plastic bumper/rear valence makes it look off. But yeah, early small tails+ euro bumpers....YES!

...i dont see what difference it makes why i want what i want on what model of car i want it on?? im asking a simple question... where to source plastic bumpers from... im not asking to put them on your car.. so if you dont like them or dont have anything to add..please keep off my thread. thought this was supposed to be more of a supportive community... not a bunch of guys trying to see who has the bigger ... tool so to speak.

Junkyard, craigslist, ebay, maybe the for sale section on here. A friend of mine has a set but I don't know if you want to pay shipping for them all the way from New Mexico.. The harder you look the more you will find

Honestly, an early model with rear plastic look like shit. Its best to go euro bumpers.
