Manual Convertible Top On Power Top Car

I have a 92 convertible with a power top that needs to be replaced. Currently the motors turn, but the drives have been disconnected and I operate it manually.

I found a good deal on a manual top+frame. Is the whole frame compatable? As in, can I unbolt the old power frame+top, pull it out, and bolt this manual frame in its place?

Also does the year matter or are the frames and tops the same
across all years?

Yes it does matter. Power top frame is different....so have it fixed. Not too many available. Or change everything to manual. And save all the power stuff!
