IS Rear spoilers meant to be painted?

are the factory Is spoilers meant to be painted? their construction seems to be more foamy than the hard plastic found on the front lips of a car.

do they come painted from the factory?

They come body matched from factory on the IS cars. But if you buy one through, say blunt, it'll come primered. You would have to spray it yourself to whatever color your car is

i believe they have special additives you can buy that make the paint more flexible when spraying "rubber/ foam" pieces on a car
