    Metal Bumper Compatibility

I just wanna get some things cleared up here, i have an '87 325e with the diving boards. Ive been wanting to upgrade to the IS/ES front valance, im just not sure what valances are compatible with the metal bumpers? Anyway to retrofit one to work? Thanks!

The 325eS and 87 325iS were early body cars just like yours. That spoiler will fit.

Another option is a late model lower valance and late model iS lip.

Go for the eS spoiler valance! It's a direct bolt on to the stock metal valance, assuming you have the brackets to attach it. I personally think an aluminum-bumper car with the eS/iS spoiler valance is one of the best looks for a US-spec car.
