    Bumper trim

    Hi

I have a 1990 325i coupe with a plastic bumper. The small piece of trim that is at the very bottom edge has broken in half, and a couple of the bumper clips are missing.

I have it glued together and stuck to the bottom of th bumper with 3m trim adhesive, temporarily. I don't know if it will hold highway speeds. (The car is getting converted to manual, and it parked for 14 more days.)

This is a part that gives the bottom lip a very small forward curve. It is very slight. I do not ned a fancy big lip, but I am open to something stock like. This car will be kept bone stock, at least where you can see it. It will grave a light flywheel, etc.

Is that trim a dealer part or is there a better option for inexpensive replacement?

    Thanks,

    John

Do you have any pics of what you're describing, I'm not sure I know what trim piece it is?

      Photo

Ok, brace yourself... This is not the same car. My car is not at home and I can't shoot it now.

(This car in the photo had a truck roll ver on top of it. Long story.)

The piece I am looking for is the one at the very bottom of the bumper.

But it is not for an IS. The piece on my car is much smaller, with a very slight forward facing lip at the bottom.

PS. The car next to my crushed car also got hit by the truck. The idiot rolled,on top of three cars waiting to be repaired.

I think you're talking about the front lip and not the bumper...

There's the part numbers for the stock i lip (top) and is lip (bottom)
