Not e30, but help needed on single stage paint.

My buddy has got an old impala, and it has atrocious water spots that will not come out. I've used a professional grade water spot remover, but it has done nothing.
Here is a pic, please let me know what avenue I should explore in order to remove these water spots.

Going to need a machine polish. If you want to invest some money and time, buy a DA polisher and try out some Meguiar's 101 and 201 polishes. They wax. Otherwise, take it to an expert and have it done.

I am totally agree with you. You are 100% good here that need a machine polish. Just buy a DA polisher and try out some Meguiar's 101 and 201 polishes.

I don't machine polish single stage paints without first attempting to restore them via a non abrasive polish such as meguires #7. The natural oils in it really do wonders for chalky vintage single stage.

Hit it with a medium cut pad in a small area if it doesn't do much move to a compound pad with light compound .... There are lots of different grade compounds just don't use down something really abrasive unless you are comfortable with a buffer

Thanks a ton guys. I don't have a buffer worth using, but he does, so that helps. I'll try some lighter stuff first and work up to some heavy cut like you all have said and work it back to life. Thanks all
