ok so the car is in great condition except the paint. The car has been in South Carolina for the longest till I picked it up. Basically I've put around 5-10 hours of work into compound rubbing and polishing the car. But the hood still has stains like water marks that are just imbedded into the paint. I got the oxidation off but Anyway. Any tips or help would be helpful. I'm just trying to do maintenance and getting the car back to life but the good stains are bugging me lol

You will have to cut then polish. Go with a med cut compound and a good high speed polisher. Hand rubbing won't net the same outcome.
