    rear end damage question

I picked up an 89 325i 5 speed in mid August. I've been working at fixing things up cosmetically and mechanically. When I got the car it head been hit at some point below the rear bumper. I know the metal is part of the body so it's something that can't just be swapped off another car. My question I suppose is if anyone has an idea of what it would cost to have it repaired by a body shop. Or if the section can be cut out and a new piece of metal welded in. I've also been considering a rear apron like the M-Tech II or ACS since that would cover the area. But if I went that route I feel like just the apron out of a whole body kit would look incomplete and it's not in the budget right now to get a whole kit. I'd just like some feedback, advice, input, or whatever.

    Pics:

It's kind of hard to tall from this but the middle is kind of flared out too. It's out of proportion I assume that was the result of the corner being hit.

There's not really any rust below the batter tray where the dent is. You can see there's a small hole bottom left as the result of being hit.

    Thanks for help.

Just realized the pictures aren't there and that this probably wasn't the right place to post this.
