paint the engine bay

as my engine will be pulled shortly I was thinking about getting rid of some wiring and respray the engine bay flat grey like they do with race cars



They apparently do it because you can see dirt faster so you can locate the cause of the problem faster or something. I just think it looks cool. What do you guys say? Keep my bay green or go for flat grey?
