I'm exploring options for touching up the trim on my '87 325, and I've narrowed it to three choices;
Duplicolor TC70 exterior trim paint (rattle can), glossy finish
Forever Black Bumper and Trim Dye (brush on)
Some yet unknown matte rattle can paint
I can't help but think that the paint is going to look funny on my trim pieces, since it will give them a different texture and appearance above and beyond the color, but I'm worried that the dye isn't going to restore the appearance of 26 year old plastic.
Does anyone have some pictures of exterior plastics that they've redone and a recommendation for the product that they've used?
