Grilles, kidneys, cowl vents and mirrors...

What do these have in common?

    Faded black plastic.

Replace, paint, or continually treat with Back to Black?

Will paint stick well (SEM Trim Black?) or is replacement the only way to keep the black, well, black?

I painted my Euro grilles, side view mirrors, door trim, B and C pillars, wiper arms, and wiper arm covers with the Duplicolor satin black trim paint and could not be happier with the results. I even put 3 or 4 coats on my rockers to clean them up and it hasn't chipped at all as far as I could tell come winter. Highly recommended. Make sure to remove any other dyes/treatments first though.

Not sure if I need to say this or not, but DO NOT use brake parts cleaner to clean plastic parts.

+1 for the DupliColor trim paint. Prep well and take your time; it will look great.

does this work well with the plastic bumper parts as well on the diving boards? do you guys remove them from the car and sand them and then apply the paint?
