All Red Tails a Failure, Non-Reading Stupidity

Well I bought the supplies to do all red tail lights a few months ago and finally got around to doing it last night. They turned out well, until I put the clear coat on. I accidently bought the Dull Coat when I bought the paint a few months ago so they turned out dull as hell. Time for some Acetone.

My advice on the clearcoat? Take them to a body shop, and have them give them a once-over with automotive grade clearcoat. A shop here is charging me $20 to do it, and it will look better and last longer than anything you try yourself.

watch the acetone. I set my tails on paper that i dint see had acetone on it...Tails+Acetone+newpaper = Tails with Frontpage Article on it. My solution=wetsand the next morning at 7:15 when school started at 8. Fuck.

But now they are nice.

and automotive grade clear coat FTW. I did that on my tails when testing my new harbor freight HVLP gravity fed gun and clearcoating my bros bmx frame after we painted it in transparent green. Sweeeet, with 4 e's.
