    Black Roofs on E30s?

After looking at this thread on the Vortex, black roofs seem like they could be super hot (depending on the car of course).

I'm wondering if anyone has seen this done on an E30? I'm thinking the E30's lines might be a little too boxy for it to flow as well as it does on an MKIV Vw, but who knows?

    Pics/Photoshops?

    Thanks!

all those cars have nice rubber channels that seperate the roof and pillars.

    e30's dont.

I don't think it would look good anyways.

Look at the white golf, bad pic of the car's black roof. But this is one of my favorite MkIV gti's. Not sure how the idea would look on an e30, but I like it on MkIV's. Someone should do a pshop.

              What Jordan said.

It would look silly on an E30, IMHO.

I think rwdrift's car looks badass.

It's a "strictly business" look for sure.

No doubt it's a great look on MKIV's (unlike Jetta front ends...).

It actually probably wouldn't look that great on an E30, because on the MKIV's, the windshield extends all the way to the edge of either side of the roof, making it flow nicely. On an E30, you'd really need to also paint the A-and-C-Pillars (like pictured on that Bronzit), which kind of defeats the purpose. A photoshop would still be nice, however.

I put some thought into this and did a bunch of photoshops and here's what I came up with:

meh, it's hard to get it so it doesn't look like a Lincoln Towncar
