I know this has probably been asked a million times but I can't seem to find any good answers about it. I don't really like how my early model e30 doesn't have a rear valence like the late model ones cuz it just looks really empty back there. Would it be worth my time to try to do what it takes to get one on there or is it too much work for the over all outcome. I don't mind doing the work I would just like to know how it is done properly so if anyone has any input on whether or not it's worth it or advice/"how to's" on if they did it themselves I would really appreciate it!! Thanks!

There are threads documenting the modification on here, usually as part of a plastic bumper swap. Cliff notes:
Cut section out of donor car.
Cut out all the metal (battery box area, etc) from behind the skin of the valance.
Trim to fit around bumper mounting points.
Tack weld over original panel and panel bond the length of the seam.
Paint.
