    Do you like the Matte blue?

    Hey guys, just started plasti dipping my car and wanted to see what you thought. I'm going with matte blue and black.

    like the color, Not sure of how i like it on the e30, but the photo is kinda of weak and the weather doesn't look like it makes the plastidip look appealing.

    Im gonna requst better photos and more detail on whats going to be blue and whats going to be black.

      Trim black, hood black, door handles and locks black, mirrors black, rims black, everything else blue.

          Take your trim off before plasti dip. It's an absolute bitch to remove it from the trim. A local guy I know has done it and he's gonna end up painting his trim black over the dip.

                  I say no. My opinion is that a time period correct paint looks best on e30's.

                    I agree, just was testing the waters. Trying something different, I'm gonna peel it off today and take her for a wash and buff.

                      I would do it one color, dont do a two tone plastidip. Black accent trim is a must.

                      So are you going to go with a maaco job or not?
