I new to the forum and cant find any write up on how to remove the 87 325is bumper. the ones i do find dont really apply to my bumper for some reason. the 2 torx bolts holding the bumper to the shocks are non existent. these are the pictures i have of what i see holding it on. i can provide more pictures if needed. https://imgur.com/a/RbXYl

Update 1
Ok so i decided to drill the bumper above and below the bolt and nut holding it on, because there was no way i could find around it.
first i cut the tow hook on the passenger side with a hack saw. then i proceeded to drill the bottom up toward the nut. after that i did the top, my hole was a bit off so i redrilled to get closer to center.
with the nut and bolt accessible i took loosened it and moved onto the drivers side.
after i finished i took the bumper off with relief.
i prepared for paint and called it a night.
the drill bit i used was a Milwaukee 1 1/4 circular drill bit -
Wow, I'm not sure what torx bolts you're talking about but I just took the front bumper off my '87 by removing four 10 or 13mm nuts that held the shock to the bumper on each side. You can see one in one of your pictures.Interested in vintage cars? Ever thought about racing one? Info, photos, videos, and more can be found at www.michaelsvintageracing.com!
