late model front bumper help

I am picking up a 89 325i coupe monday, the front bumper has some damage. The damage is on the top of the bumper on the lil lip that sticks out a bit, it got cracked and is peeling up.

My question is since I am wanting to fix this, will I need to get a whole new bumper or is this section part of the assembly and I can just buy the small section and attach/replace it???

its the whole bumper cover, depending how bad it is maybe you can repair it still

The second picture you posted doesn't really accurately show what you need (I think that is an E34 bumper). This is the E30 bumper skin:

Oh yeah that 2nd one is e34 i think, they kept popping up on the image search.
Anyone know where I can pick one up for cheap, can be any color, I don't mind spraying it.
I can only find mtec knock offs for under $300 and the real deal for like $700-1000.
