Poll: 3rd brake light, or no?

From a safety standpoint, I would say to just leave it. It's always good to give people plenty of ample warning that you are braking, and if their field of vision isn't pointed straight at your taillights, perhaps they'll see the one in the rear windshield.

I'd hate to get rear ended and have the other driver/insurance company make an issue out of your "inadequate" brake lights if you took it out.

I always notice the third brake light first when Im driving behind someone. Id personally keep it. It doesnt really change the look of the car much at all.

Same here, it looks lame compared to the smaller late-model one.
