Hey guys I just wanted to share an idea I've been playing around with. I wanted to paint my sideview mirrors to match my body color but wasn't completely sold on the whole thing being one solid color. So I took a cue from more modern cars and painted the mounting side of the mirror, as well as the small trim around the actual mirror black to match the trim and the forward facing portion body color. I think it turned out pretty good, but I figured I'd see what other opinions I could get on it.

I was just thinking about this yesterday! While the execution looks good, I think there is too much black on the mount side to be offset by the red body of the mirror. I don't really like the look of it, and will probably be sticking with the stock look for mine. -
You did a good job. Personally, I think that it works.
