I bead blasted a set of MSW weaves today, but for some reason it was really hard to get off. It was like a polish with clear over it. Way harder than paint for sure. Any secrets? I think I am gonna try some industrial paint stripper tomorrow.
Wheel Stripping?

They are probably powdercoated clear over the entire wheel. Most media blasting places will be able to take it off with ease. Just have to use the correct media.Comment

The wheels were originally this ugly polished on parts and nogaro(sp?) down inside the weaves. The nogaro is powdercoated and doesn't come off and I'm cool with that. The polished area with the clear comes off with the glass beads that I am blasting it with, but it is a lot harder than just regular paint. Are there any industrial paint strippers that might help? I tried this gel kind once and it didn't do much. Anything stonger that wont ruin the wheels themselves out there? I know that I can get it all off, but it will take forever. I am afraid of using sand cause it will pitt the wheels. Anything stronger than glass that wont cause pitting?sigpicComment
