Its coming to the point where I'm gonna need to buy the bondo to fill the spots on my car. Now I already know the autozone special bondo is no bueno. I was just wonder what is. I heard evercoat is a good brand but they have so many types. also whats the bet grit sand paper to sand bondo. My dad has bondo experiance but its on fiberglass is it the same with metal?
Best body filler?

I've had great luck with a product called "Metal Fuzion", made by Cargroom. The only place I can find that sells it is PepBoys. Much better finished product than Bondo. Regardless of filler type, you'll use a variety of grits of sandpaper, going up to 1500-2000 or so. -
I used to work at O'Reilly. We sell cargroom, too! ;)

If you are using 1500-2000 grit sandpaper on body filler, you are wasting both time and sandpaper. 220 should be the absolute finest grit used on body filler followed by primer surfacer. 1500-2000 is what you use when you're sanding clear to buff it.Comment

I think I used to use an Evercoat product. Worked really well.
I also like to used something in a "sprayable body filler". It smells just like bondo, sprays like a heavy primer. I used about 1/2 gal on my motorcycle tank. after sanding it, the tanks paint looks like glass.
