Okay, so I've looked around a bit and maybe I've just overlooked it. It's probably staring me in the face on some webpage somewhere, but point is: I'm pretty solid on wanting to change the color on my car to Malachite Green.
Now I need the paint code or a place that has this color available, and while I have yet to get around to going door to door at autoshops asking if they can mix it, my results so far have been... not good... virtually non-existent. lol I have to know so I can price it out before committing. Got any ideas/know the Malachite Green paint code? I mean, even as a last resort, could I contact BMW about the paint? I know there's a newer Malachite Green on the new 5-Series, but it didn't look the same the results on the E30's I got results for on Google Images.
Also, anyone who's painted a metallic color on their car (I say that because I'm a paint noob and have no idea how adding metallic affects volume needed) about what volume of paint would you recommend buying to cover an early model which will keep its diving boards and black plastic, but will be adding a full early model Pfeba kit (Front valence, rear valence, skirts, etc. The Heckspoiler, as the wing is designated, will stay flat black)?
