Best way to strip the lower front valance

I have a pretty rough lower front valance on my 89 325i. It is in good condition structure wise but paint and finish its crap.
Whats the best way to strip all the chipped up paint down off it to prep it for painting?
It seems to be made of metal ofc.

The front valence is metal and is covered in stone guard (undercoating) and then painted. I suggest using a wire wheel on a grinder. We did this on Josh's car (Jand3rson) and it worked very well, though it made a bit of a mess and was rather loud. Aircraft stripper didn't even touch it.

Well I woulda said aircraft stripper, or sandblast if you have any of that equipment.

Sand blast will not touch the stone guard. Grinder with a stiff wire cup wheel is the only way to go.

I used a gold wire wheel, not the cup style and it works ok. Not tearing into it like i figured though. Still have to get the coating off the outter left and right sides. Might try a cup style one or a different type of wire or maybe one of those hard disks that look sponge like.

I wanted to clean it up before I throw some plasti dip on till I can save enough to paint it right.
