    Trunk Repair Panels

Alright so i am looking for some r3v guidance, im in the process of getting some rust repair panels for my 87 325e sedan (built 11/86). The car has the usual rust under the battery tray and rust on the opposite side as well, and its pretty bad.

The repair panels i need are part numbers 2 and 3 in the digram, but it says they are ended and NLA.

My question is this will the same late model panels work for the early model?

The late model panels are still available and cheap, I know the rear wheel arches and tail lights are different between the early and late models, but are the areas at the bottom of the trunk different?

    Thanks in advance.

Just look up the late model in Realoem, and see if the part # is the same?

Depending on the circunstances, sheet metal is an option. I think you can do a good job with a few pieces. Use a cereal box to get your form right. When its done, you will cover with chip guard anyway.
Looking for late model fogs, E39 Fog lights, cool cheap 17 5x120 wheels.
