    Who has side skirts?

Thinking of installing some RD side skirts on my car. What's
the best way to install these without totally butchering the car.

I guess pop rivets and a lot of glue it is.

I drove 2 bolts into each end of the skirts than used quality double sided tape where the skirt runs under the door.

Where exactly and how are they holding up, nothing worse than running over your own body work.

Use just adhesive. They make a special type for this. Get the right stuff. It will hold anything. I've used it to replace floorboards instead of welding them in. It's incredible stuff.

I'm going to use expanding rivets and adhesive but haven't decided what kind to use yet. Any suggestions?

If you use a good adhesive, rivets aren't needed. This link shows the type of adhesive you would need. http://solutions.3m.com/wps/portal/!...l=6DTWTJQPBBgl It may not be cheap and the real kicker is the cost of the caulk gun to use it. I used the school's gun, but I believe the price of the gun was over 200. However, you could probably get away with pushing equal amounts out of the two tubes. Find a local 3m dealer and get their advice. They should know exactly what to use. I believe O'Reilly auto is a dealer, but I wouldn't trust their advice.

I might also mention to look into similar products from SEM. They make good stuff too, and there caulk gun only costs $45 on ebay.

3M makes a great 2 part epoxy type of body moulding compound.
sets fast and holds very well. Riveting is not necessary

if only I could mold it in the shape of an iS lip

I don't know guys, they came with mounting strips and the skirts are
                    not light.
