OEM body parts vs aftermarket? Experiences?

Any experience with OEM fitament/quality vs aftermarket body panels?

For example I need a 41131971102 (radiator support) after the used one i purchased had more rust than I wanted to deal with. This is on a 1990 325is.

At the dealer this radiator support is $213.

This one is $95 shipped. Any experiences with fitament/quality?

I'm leaning towards OEM for fitment, but I have to do do some "adjustments" to begin with to complete the repair.

^ take it to the For Sale section, as for an answer, aftermarket body parts are often thinner metal, and may require more adjustments to fit proper. Factory parts also require fitting, but are often thicker metal, better overall quality, and require less adjustment.
