this is the 41331933770 valance Kronus mentioned. It's for euro front ends, euro bumpers etc.

it's for non-A/C cars. If you have the oil cooler in front (and you do), you should have the 41331933772 valance instead.

I've been looking for one for 18+ months now, so good luck. It's not NLA but BMW has no inventory anywhere. I assume they are letting orders build up so they can do a large production run. who knows...

you can convert a 770 to a 772 by cutting the vent holes. it will be sitting behind your alpina air dam anyway, so doesn't need to be perfect I guess.

Abrahammotorsports.com shows only the late model picture but they sell prefacelift as well. I bought type 147 which is for prefacelift.

there's a pic on the Abrahams web site that shows a late model front end. Is that what you bought?

if that's what you bought you'll need a late model metal valance then, and late model fogs. Kronus is telling you about euro parts for early model though, which is not what's in the pic.

If you really do need LATE model, here's the valance you need

Kronus or Raul should confirm - don't just take my word for it. You'll need plastic bumpers too looks like, not the diving boards on the 325is. Plastic bumper retrofit on coupe rears requires bumper mods and is not straight forward.

That part number is the US diving board valance. You already have it on your 87 IS.

if you have a US market early model, no, you need the foglights that go with that specific euro valence. I don't know their part numbers but you should be able to find the part numbers you need here: http://realoem.com/bmw/showparts.do?...33&hg=41&fg=10

    I guess my car doesn't have 41331933770.

What about fog lights? Will my current ones work?

Ordered yesterday from abrahammotorsports for my 1987 325is. Don't know which one it is.

Is there more than one for prefacelift?

Another concern I had is that my car has oil cooler and don't even know if Alpina front spoiler is gonna work for it!?

What Alpina air dam do you have.? Is it the 137, 147 or 162 air dam.

it depends on the alpina spoiler

there's a early one and a late one, you need the valence that corresponds to it
