get some yellow lamin x, you're going to want some on there anyway
also, the valence bradnic has will work with a 137 alpina lip, but a 147 won't.
either will work for an mtech I, though, since it attaches to the bumper. You probably don't really need a lower valence for Mtech I.Leave a comment:

in a perfect world, yes :-)
the euro valance is very hard to find. I'm actually selling a 2 piece valance right now. if you're not attaching a plastic lower lip to it I'm almost certain it will work for you. Would work for an mtech1 too I bet.
Kronus or Raul should confirm...Leave a comment:

the alpina 147 lip sits on top of the regular metal valence; these should be the correct fogs for it.
nice find! this is turning into an informative thread.Leave a comment:

no that's a pre-9/85 fog - check the realoem listing comments.i found this 63171374893, is the correct one? There seems to be two kinds!

since I confused you, here are the fog assembly listings I know about. They are for late 85-87 euro cars - there's pre-9/85 original, 9/85-87 (redesigned frontend, but STILL pre-facelift), and post 87 (plastic bumpers)
http://realoem.com/bmw/showparts.do?...63&fg=15&hl=10
left assembly 63171376935

right assembly 63171376936

you should still confirm there is nothing special about an Alpina 147 foglight setup over a basic euro fog setup.Leave a comment:

rear view of the left side euro fog on a 770 valance. You can see the part numbers on it
UPDATE: the part numbers molded into the back are for the bare housing, not the assembly. You won't find them on realoem unfortunately.
here's the right side euro fog assembly
NOTE: This is the correct setup for a PLAIN euro front end car with fogs. CHECK WITH KRONUS AND RAUL FIRST. Not sure if the Alpina setup is different.Last edited by bradnic; 09-18-2014, 12:31 PM.Leave a comment:

fog lights
Do you know which fog lights i need?
this is the 41331933770 valance Kronus mentioned. It's for euro front ends, euro bumpers etc.

it's for non-A/C cars. If you have the oil cooler in front (and you do), you should have the 41331933772 valance instead.

I've been looking for one for 18+ months now, so good luck. It's not NLA but BMW has no inventory anywhere. I assume they are letting orders build up so they can do a large production run. who knows...
you can convert a 770 to a 772 by cutting the vent holes. it will be sitting behind your alpina air dam anyway, so doesn't need to be perfect I guess.Leave a comment:
