ok i have a forced inspection for illegal window tints to get done in the next 48hrs. Instead of peeling off the tints (they are perfect and want to keep them), I am considering temporarily swapping the glass from a donor.
I have located a pair of complete used doors, this is for a late model coupe. Is it easier for me to swap just the glass, or do I instead swap the whole door? I will be doing this alone, so dont have a helper to hold the door.
Removing the door seems straight forward to me, undo the two hinge pins, the harness and the door holder thing. Swapping the glass, i have little idea how.
