    body kit help

    Hi all,
I'm looking at a 1991 convertible. I'd like to add the front lip spoiler, side skirts and rear bumper. I can't find anything in remotely recent within the last couple years for vendors when i search here. Every post seems from 2011 and earlier. I look online for parts and can't find anything that seems real. I get a lot of Duraflex and what I assume are other off brand results where reviews are not good.

So, where do you get these parts these days? I like the look of the MTech stuff, but are there genuine parts still available?

Here's what I think seems like real stuff:

front lip - I'm thinking this from bavauto.com Valence Lip Spoiler - Cut-Out Style - Genuine BMW

side skirt - Rieger side skirt from Abrahams Motorsport

rear bumper - kopi ACS from Abrahams Motorport. However reviews dont seem very good on this product. not plug and play and fitament is iffy.

Sorry if this info is on here somewhere, but I just cant seem to locate it. Thanks for the help!

Mtech reps are available and the genuine is too, but that's gonna be used. Abrahams is still around. He has a website and posts on here sometimes too. It seems like you already found the pieces youre interested in, are you looking for other options?

Body kits for the cabrio are few and far between. The ones that did exist are difficult to find. They will pop up occasionally. .the AC Schnitzer or MT side skirts let's say...but will command a premium and go quickly still.

An MTV kit I think is for sale still on the forums and it was nearly 2k. It wasn't for a vert.

      Good luck in your searches.

        Thanks guys,
Yeah, I guess that just kind of confirms what I've found. There really aren't any companies out there producing good after market kits these days besides what I mentioned? Unless you all know of something else?

Guess I was just looking for what the good, reputable companies are with kits out there in the event I don't come across any good used items and have to buy new.

          Reiger still makes kits ?

If you want to try something with your vert, some body match the sides and that gives a nice look.

Not many companies are interested in making kits for a 25 year old car.
