Is there a Rustoleum color that is similar to Hennarot? I screwed up my paint on accident not paying attention and just need something to cover the bare metal until I can afford a respray?

Try your local automotive paint supply store. Here in NJ you can BMW paint colors in aerosol cans. $30 to $50 depending on single stage or blended with clear coat. -
this,
but be careful cause if you paint is original, it probably slightly faded compared to the day it rolled off the boat. good paint shop has some camera that they take a picture of the paint and can make a closer matchComment

Try and get DuPont if you can. They make some good shit. But yea just go into any autobody supply shop with your paint code and should be able to match it.Comment

Alright cool. I'll definitely take a look, my mom had some orange Rustoleum laying around so I'm gonna spray that on a box and see how it comes out. I'll post the picture of my goof tomorrow on my update thread.Originally posted by flyboyxhow about if i yank the anal beads out of your ass like i'm trying to pull start a chain saw?Originally posted by Northernbeer is my new liver cleanse.

I had a spray can mixed a local shop near me (Carquest?) that deals with Dupont paints, they're paint code for henna is 052 I believe, and the match was pretty close. I think I paid about 25 bucks for the can if I recall. It's a little bigger than your normal Rusto style can which was nice. I got the can so I could paint my euro valence before I paint the entire car, and if you're not the most picky person in the world,it'll be fine. It's also a single stage paint, so just clean the area up, sand it a little, hit it with a coat of primer or two and then lay down a coat or two of color. On my valence at pretty much bare metal I did two coats of filler primer, one coat of normal primer, and then two coats of paint, no clear.
Good luck with the touch up, just remember to take your time, and clean up the area well, no matter what paint you use, it's gonna look like crap if it's not prepped right.WNY e30 Group on FB, feel free to join if you're from the area!

I just want it to look close, because I'm getting the car painted in the spring with a new fender most likely, just wanting to cover the bare metal and make it look less noticeableOriginally posted by flyboyxhow about if i yank the anal beads out of your ass like i'm trying to pull start a chain saw?Originally posted by Northernbeer is my new liver cleanse.

Yea that will work. I know it's not nearly the same thing but in my Schwarz car I got color matched spray paint and you can't tell from 5-10ft that it was rattled canned on. Although I did just do the wheel arches and rocker panels.Comment
