Help choose a paint color

I just picked up a one owner 1987 325is. Mint interior. Mods include sound system, kyb/vogtland, 15x8 +20 with 225s, and tint coming soon. It is currently champange and I want to paint it a dark gray (non metallic). I really like the porsche rs gray color, but would like to stick with a factory BMW color if possible.

Does anyone know what cars came with a non metallic gray color? I would like to look up the pain codes.

The e46 came in a steel grey or "stahlgrau" paint code 400

I love both of those colors and they are the exact shade I am going for. I really was trying to find a color without metallic in it however. I do like the idea of the ZobelBraun because it is at least an original e30 color!

particularly, vulkangrau looks to be a non-metallic
