I was looking around for good detailing equiptment and started picking the recommended products from each section of what I'd cover if I detailed my car. The price (with the orbital buffer) came out to about $420. Is that a bit too much to spend on detailing products? Here's a list if it helps (no particular order):
- Porter-Cable 7424 6" Variable-Speed Random-Orbit Polisher
- P21S Bodywork Conditioning Shampoo
- 200g Clay Bar + 16oz Quick Shine from ClearKote
- 16oz Poorboy's SSR 2.5
- 16oz Poorboy's SSR 1
- 16oz Menzerna Finishing Touch Glaze
- FMJ
- P21s Concours Wax
- Poorboy's Super Slick & Suds
- 2x Extra Thirsty Waffle Weave Drying Towel
- Sheepskin Wash Mitt
- Wenol Metal Polish
- Auto Wenol Polish
- P21S Gel Wheel Cleaner
- Meguiar's NXT Generation Insane Shine Tire Dressing
- Iron Style Carpet Brush
- Leatherique Cleaner
- Leatherique Rejuvenator
- Microfiber Applicator Pad
- Stoner Trim Shine
Jeez, looking at that now..that's quite a list. Did I go a bit overboard?
