How much for good detailing equiptment?

I was looking around for good detailing equiptment and started picking the recommended products from each section of what I'd cover if I detailed my car. The price (with the orbital buffer) came out to about $420. Is that a bit too much to spend on detailing products? Here's a list if it helps (no particular order):

Jeez, looking at that now..that's quite a list. Did I go a bit overboard?

I think it is too much, but it all depends what you are looking for, and how much money you are willing to fork over. The list seems like it has doubles, and I am never a fan of the tire polish, just because they are gunna get really dirty really soon. As for the list some of the stuff on it is pretty good, I just don't think you need all of it.

You've got everything you could need, I think. I would get several MicroFiber Clothes. Not only do they seem to walk away, they are great for removing buildups that occur when buffing or waxing...
