    M-Tech Kits?

I have an 87 325e and I have been reading that the m-tech 1 will fit my car but the m-tech 2 will not.

Can someone explain why? Still new to BMW's

    Much appreciated.

mtech 1 is for early models with diving board bumpers and different valences front and rear.

mtech 2 is for late models with plastic bumpers and their respective valences

there's more to it than that really but that's the basic reason why

Early cars have a different rear wheel arch design so bumpers fit differently.
