    Door shave or e36/e46 side molding



    Im looking into the idea of doing this for just the doors on a widebody project and coloring matching them. Has anyone done this?

    Shaving the side can look incomplete. M-Tech 1 or 2 kit is good.

    Also, the side moldings can save your side panels from door dings.. Not something to be taken lightly!

    The E30/36 combos always looked kinda funny to me. And now that E36's are cheaper than E30's, it's not the look I would choose. Body color side moldings can look good, you just have to make sure you prep them and use the right paint, no idea what that would be.
    Drive it hard. Maintain it well.

      Bump. The car has m3 flares and bumpers.

        Just fill the strip in the door. I think that will look wonky with just a strip at the door and not quarters.
