painting grills and bumper trim...what to use?

For those of you who have painted the trim on you e30's (esp the trim around the bumpers and grills, what method did you use?)

Also, any particular method?

Wet sand and clean really well. I used duplicolor trim paint (green can). Honestly it's the same shit as sem paint.
