    Front panel/valence differences

FRONT PANEL Q's aka front valence...
The production date of my '89 325is is 07/88. The part no. for cars up to 09/88 for the front panel is 4133192548.

I see no reason why it wouldn't be a direct swap from another late model e30 I have which is a 1990 325i with a production date of 01/90, for which the part no. 41331961227 is supposedly the proper application.

    What is the difference?

The only difference I can think of it that the 88 model year valance has the holes in it to attach the black diving board bumper shrouds.

Thanks. Alright then, so I gather that with my late plastic bumpers on my 325is there would be absolutely no difference when swapping the front panel from an even later 325i.

Nope. Any late valance would work.

Maybe you guys can help. I have an 4/87is with mtech1 valance. I had a little accident and the valance is a gonner. Im considering getting eurobumpers and a new valance and have a removable rad support conversion. If parts become difficult to find, do you guys think a late model rad support would work in a early model? cause in that case Id just convert everything to plastic bumpers.

Yes you could use the late model rad support. That doesn't mean you need to do a bumper conversion though.

I really don't want to convert to plastic bumpers cause I like the looks of the mtech1, but parts are getting really hard to find and getting expensive, so I was considering a late model looks conversion.

I think you maybe confused to what an MTech1 valance is. If that's the one in your sig you're talking about. Then that's a iS airdam.

                This is Mtech1

I was misinformed about that some time ago. But anyhow, if I get the eurobumpers I'll most likely go with Mtech1.
