ROCK BOTTOM, How do i remove This?

My car is in the wars atm, It currently has a smashed window (someone broke into it), and I drove through House paint on the road.

I do not have any idea how to get it off, I have tried everything from Ridiculously strong paint thinner putty to WD-40, but house paint cannot come off without damaging the original paint.

So unless anyone has any ideas how to solve this issue, ill have to get the whole door e.t.c repainted :(

Brake parts cleaner might work, but use the CHLORINATED type. Dechlorinated brake clean is a lot like carb cleaner, and will eat right through paint. Basically, get the kind that isn't super cold when you spray it.

If there's a graffiti removal company around you, give them a call and see if you could buy some product from them.

You could try graffiti remover, but I'd test it in an inconspicuous place first. you may also have some luck with Goof-off, and I think there are some detailing/paint companies that make overspray remover.

Also use a clay bar to apply the product of choice.

goof off will definitely remove any water based acrylic (latex) house paint without damaging the car paint. but that doesnt look like house paint to me. Looks like more of an epoxy or industrial adhesive of some kind. Start with goof off, if that doesnt work, try the graffiti remover sold in the autoparts store paint aisle, sold in an aerosol rattle can. Let it set up for a bit before wiping off. If still no luck try a 3m adhesive remover that is paint friendly. One of those should work.
