    Side Skirt Fitment Question

I while back I acquired a set of 2 piece Pfeba side skirts, that I was told came off an e30. They fit the fender arches perfectly, but seem to come up a bit short where they are supposed to join at the seam (about a couple inches).

    This is on a 1986 325es.

Is it possible that these are for a convertible instead? Do the verts have a shorter rocker section? I was thinking maybe they were for a late model, but I know that late IS skirts will fit an early coupe so I'm thinking that is not the case. And 4 door and coupes are the same too?

    Any input would be appreciated.

The rear wheel arches on early models are the same as convertibles, so your skirts are probably for a late model e30, which had the lower rear wheel arches.

The part that runs up the arches seems to match up, only the skirts are not long enough to meet at the seams. I guess I'll have to find a late model to mock them up to.

Did you ever find out the solution on the pfeba skirts. I have the same problem.

No I haven't, but interesting to know I'm not the only one. Did you see yours mounted before you purchased them?

On photos...I like the skirt but would be worthless to me if not fitted correctly. I will try to see if a auto body shop could make it work. I will let you know.
