89-90 vert with dbs on early model?

is this possible? I just picked up a 89 vert for parts for my 84 eta with the dbs but instead of the rubber looking plastic molding that surrounds the metal bumpers that early models have, they're plastic. Just a thought if they would work?

Front will work, but the back won't cause of the lower wheel arch on the rear of the convertible. But then your side markers will be different from the front and back cause the 84 had the large side marker and the verts use the thin later ones.

ahh ok good to know. I guess i'll do the fronts and leave the rears
