Besides clips, how else can I keep the "IS" lip on?

I've had my new IS on for a week, then backed out of a driveway with a dip - ripped the cabron right off!!!
Besides clips, any other idea to keep this PITA on?

    Thank you.

Yes, zip-ties. They'll hold just to the point where the lip would break, then let go (unlike bolts).

Try hitting driveways at an angle and being smart in general.

I have an iS lip with a splitter and never once has it though about coming off.

Guess I should add that I have never unmounted any of my 7 iS lips on driveways or curbs. All small animals or theft.

Zip ties, huh? Interesting. I'm curious how this is done. Do you use the pre-existing area where the clip and lip meet? If you post a picture, that would really clear up my question.
              Thank you,
              Chris

Wondering the same thing. It would seem to me that it would require drilling new holes to get the zip ties to fit. Am I wrong?

Oh, I see you put the ties thru the holes for fogs/brake ducts as well as the center grille.

are your serious? zip ties that are exposed? i didnt pay close enough attention to see if there were any holes under the valence that matched up with any extra holes in the IS lip, but ill go look tomorrow!

i clamped my reiger lip to the valance, drilled holes through lip and valance, tightened zip ties, and voila, that bitch isn't going anywhere, i used 6 in total, plus the clips, 4 acrossed the front and one on each side

Anybody think of drilling holes in the IS lip and using bolts and nuts to hold it to the valance in place of those clips? 20 screws or bolts would hold it in place for sure.
