early model valance installation

I need help with installing the front 325is/325es valance. The proper bracket used with this is broken so was curious if there is an alternative?

The alternative is screwing it to the bottom of the bumper. Or you could make a similar bracket to the original, I suppose.

I just used the above brackets and they are a very good product, I also found a 86-87 valance installation manual on line and that helped as well, the valance is now installed and rock solid
