    87 W/plastic bumper install rear valance ?

How hard is it to install a rear valance/apron on an 87 with plastic bumpers? I want to get one to finish the rear off but all the ones are for 89+ cars that had the plastic bumpers stock. Is there anything different or do they mount up the same?

    Thanks.

I could be wrong but I think it is part of the body. You will have to cut it off then weld it or bolt it to the underbody of your car. Not to much work if you know what you are doing.

        I mean an aftermarket one.

        Thanks for the input though

Not that difficult...if you have the skills to do the plastic bumper swap then you can deffinatly install the rear valance. Theres really nothing to it, hardest part is getting the valance to line up with the bumper.

Thanks for the help. I am actually going to make a write-up of my rear plastic bumper install/modding pretty soon. I am about 80% done with it. I have an RD rear valance coming in the mail:grin:

Is it as hard as they say? Jordan went on and on about how hard it was and how much "skill" it takes but I have also heard from some people that it wasn't terribly hard. Do you have experience doing body work?
