The cable to my hood release broke, so I used the ole screwdriver method and was able to pop my hood open, but now it seems like it doesn't want to close. What's the trick?
Latch might be gunked up and sticky, which is why it might not have opened in the first place. Try turning the screwdriver back the opposite way, then oil/clean the latch to get it working properly.
